Biffy Clyro At #1 On Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart


It took us a while to recover from the bank holiday shenanigans, so we’ve doubled up and given you a chart covering August 22 to September 4.

Reading Festival headliners Biffy Clyro have knocked the event off the top spot and taken #1 position on the chart. Following closely behind are fellow festival headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, while making up the rest of the top five we have The CourteenersTwenty One Pilots and South West Four.

We’ve had lots of show announcements recently, which has meant a lot of movement on the chart and welcoming some new blood, including Twenty One PilotsFrank Turner, Dave ChappelleOliver Heldens and You Me At Six.

This week we’ve had even more MASSIVE tours announced. Green Day have confirmed a trio of UK arena shows, as well as a North American tour, Shawn Mendes has lined up a world tour,  Olly Murs will be calling at arenas across the UK and Ireland in 2017, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are getting back on the road next year, and Ne-Yo will play two UK arena shows in November. Nottingham’s Sleaford Mods have added a second hometown show at Rock City on November 4, in addition to their already confirmed November 3 show, plus stops in Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Brighton, Coventry, Bristol and London. Tickets for the new date are on pre-sale at 9am on September 1, 24 hours ahead of general sale, priced from £15.00 plus fees.

Having debuted the 20,000 capacity superstructure at last weekend’s Creamfields, the festival’s organisers will bring a one off Steel Yard event to Trafalgar Dock in Liverpool on November 26 with Axwell and Ingrosso set to perform. Early bird tickets are on pre-sale at 10am on September 1, 24 hours ahead of general sale, priced at £40.00 plus fees.

Stereophonics Storm To The Top Of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart

Stereophonics have stormed their way to the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart within the first week of their Keep The Village Alive Tour going on sale and The Courteeners have done almost as well, coming in at #2.  Meanwhile, last week’s chart-toppers Foals have only just managed to stay in the top 20, dropping all the way to the bottom of the chart.
