This week is so busy! Tegan and Sara have released an album consisting of songs they wrote in high school and recently recorded, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have offered up a new EP and The Beatles are celebrating the 50th anniversary of ‘Abbey Road’ with an impressive reissue.

Scouting For Girls

The indie-pop trio are scheduled to return with ‘The Trouble With Boys’ on September 20, followed by an extensive tour across the UK and Ireland in November and December. Singer-songwriter James Arthur has announced the You Up Close and Personal Tour for the autumn, while pop vocalist John Newman, most famous for his 2013 single Love Me Again, will bring his Out Of The Blue Tour to venues this summer. Singer-songwriter Marina, meanwhile, has announced the Love + Fear UK Tour Part 2 for October and November this year.

British electronic group Hot Chip will take over London’s iconic Alexandra Palace on October 26 and former Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman will bring together music and funny anecdotes on The Grumpy Old Christmas Show Tour later this year.

James Arthur

Adele Continues To Sit Pretty Atop Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart

Adele, queen of the charts, continues to reign supreme and secures the #1 spot on Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart for the second week in a row. Catching up with her, and jumping two places this week, are Coldplay, bumping last week’s #2, Lionel Richie, down to #3.

Having a good first week are Billy Joel and Justin Bieber, who have entered the chart at #4 and #5, respectively.  Also on the rise are Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra, climbing from #11 last week to #6 this week. However, things are not looking good for Rihanna, who has slid down to #7, or Hozier, who is only just clinging onto a top 20 position.
