This Week’s Top Tickets: Bob Dylan And Neil Young at BST Hyde Park, The 1975, The Chemical Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, Rod Stewart, Little Mix, Foals, Sounds Of The City, Diversity and more

Legendary artists Bob Dylan and Neil Young have been announced for next year’s British Summer Time series at London’s Hyde Park, while the 1975 will perform a massive show at Bellahouston Park in August as part of the Glasgow Summer Sessions series.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, Rod Stewart and Little Mix have added arena dates to their 2019 tour plans, the Chemical Brothers have announced a new album and accompanying tour dates, Lenny Kravitz will return in the summer and Foals have announced their first show of 2019, confirming a headline performance at next year’s This Is Tomorrow festival! Bob Dylan and Neil Young at BST Hyde Park

The legendary singer-songwriters will share the bill at next year’s British Summer Time series at London’s Hyde Park on July 12, with Dylan being joined by his band and Young arriving backed by Promise of the Real. The 1975

The alt-pop band will perform a huge show as part of the Glasgow Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park on August 25, with support from Twin Atlantic, You Me At Six, Pale Waves, Ten Tonnes and No Rome. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on November 30.

The Chemical Brothers

Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will release ‘No Geography’ next spring followed by a UK tour in November. They also headline an All Points East show at Victoria Park in London on May 30. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on November 30.

The US rocker is set to take over London’s O2 Arena on June 11 supporting his recent record ‘Raise Vibration’, while the line up is also set to feature openers Corinne Bailey Rae and Brass Against. General sale begins at 9am on Friday, November 30. Head here for pre-sale tickets.

Rod Stewart

The legendary singer has added four arena shows to his 2019 tour, calling at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena on November 28, Liverpool’s Echo Arena on December 10 and the O2 Arena in London on December 17 and 19. The new dates will follow up his recently confirmed run of open air concerts during summer, his first UK tour in three years. Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at 9am on November 30 (photo: Sean Hansford).

Little Mix

The pop group, who recently released ‘LM5’, will now kick off the run on October 4 at the TECA in Aberdeen and have announced two more nights at the SSE Arena Belfast on October 6 and 7 and a third show at Dublin’s 3Arena on October 8. Tickets go on sale at 9am on November 30.

Foals

The Oxford band will top the bill at This Is Tomorrow festival at Exhibition Park in Newcastle Upon Tyne on Friday, May 24, following sets from You Me At Six, Nothing But Thieves, the Pale White, Bad Sounds, Anteros, Kawala and Wild Front.

Sounds Of The City featuring the Wombats, Elbow, the National, Kylie, the Kooks, Haçienda Classical)

The National, Elbow and Kylie are among the acts announced for Manchester’s Sounds Of The City 2019. Also set to head to the city centre’s Castlefield Bowl are Haçienda Classical, the Wombats and the Kooks, with tickets for all shows on general sale at 9.30am on Friday, November 30.

Diversity

Diversity will celebrate their 10 year anniversary with a huge UK tour in autumn 2019, kicking off the 36 show run at the Regent Theatre in Stoke on September 21 and it will conclude at Glasgow’s King’s Theatre on November 23. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 30.
