Singer-songwriter James Arthur has announced the You Up Close and Personal Tour for the autumn, while pop vocalist John Newman, most famous for his 2013 single Love Me Again, will bring his Out Of The Blue Tour to venues this summer. Singer-songwriter Marina, meanwhile, has announced the Love + Fear UK Tour Part 2 for October and November this year.

British electronic group Hot Chip will take over London’s iconic Alexandra Palace on October 26 and former Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman will bring together music and funny anecdotes on The Grumpy Old Christmas Show Tour later this year.

James Arthur

The singer-songwriter has lined up autumn dates for his You Up Close And Personal Tour, calling in Stoke, Southend, Manchester, Hull, Birmingham, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bath, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Reading, London, Nottingham, Carlisle, Liverpool and Glasgow between October 6 and 29. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 31.

Marina

The singer-songwriter will bring part two of her Love + Fear Tour to Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, the O2 Apollo Manchester, Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena, the Eventim Apollo in London and Brighton Centre between October 28 and November 5. The tour shares its name with Marina’s new album, which came out in April. John Newman

The pop singer will bring his Out Of The Blue Tour to York, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Stoke, Cardiff, Guildford, Brighton, Bournemouth, Margate, Nottingham, Hull and London, where he’ll play the Lexington, this summer. Tickets go on sale at 10am on May 31.

Hot Chip

The band, who are set to release ‘Bath Full Of Ecstasy’ on June 21, will finish up the album’s accompanying tour with a show at Alexandra Palace, London on October 26. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on May 31, priced from £33.70 including fees.

Rick Wakeman

The former Yes keyboardist will bring together music and funny anecdotes on The Grumpy Old Christmas Show Tour later this year, calling at London’s Cadogan Hall before heading to Watford, Birmingham, Harrogate, Buxton, Poole, Liverpool, and Manchester, wrapping up at the Royal Northern College of Music on December 19. Jack Dee

A total of 38 dates have been confirmed for the comedian’s Off The Telly Tour, his first stand-up run in six years, beginning on September 11 at Tewkesbury’s Roses Theatre and running through to early December. Tickets are on sale now.

The legendary Rod Stewart has added arena shows in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham to his autumn tour plans, while original shock-rocker Alice Cooper will take over arenas in October for his The Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back Tour. There’s also shows announced by Irish singer-songwriter Hozier, who puts out his long-awaited second album in March, as well as Scottish musician Lewis Capaldi, who’ll embark on his biggest headline tour to date following the release of his debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ this spring.

Marina, formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds, will support her new record with a spring UK tour, while the prodigious musical genius Nick Cave will bring an evening of talk and music to intimate venues in June. Alexisonfire are back with a new track, Familiar Drugs, plus a headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace. Japan’s One OK Rock, meanwhile, will bring their Eye Of The Storm Tour to Manchester and London this spring as part of a wider European trek in support of the recently released album of the same name. Lastly, fresh from hosting this week’s Brit Awards, comedian Jack Whitehall has announced his Stood Up UK and Ireland tour for November and December.

Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart has added new shows at Manchester Arena on November 23, the First Direct Arena in Leeds on December 11 and Arena Birmingham on December 13 to his autumn UK tour plans. The legendary vocalist, who released ‘Blood Red Roses’ last year, also has open air concerts lined up throughout summer. Alice Cooper
