This Week’s New Releases: Suede, Rina Sawayama And The Mars Volta

This is the busiest week for new records we’ve had in a while. Suede have finally followed up 2018’s ‘The Blue Hour’, Rina Sawayama has dropped her sophomore LP, and The Mars Volta have returned with their first new album in a decade. Ringo Starr has also put out a four-track EP.

What a week! Sam Smith will head out on a UK and European arena tour next spring, Liam Gallagher has announced a summer date at Finsbury Park in London, the Cribs confirm a fresh batch of tour dates in January, Gomez will celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Bring It On’ with a tour of the UK and Ireland, Brian Fallon has announced a return to the UK and Europe and Skindred will be joined by guests CKY for a UK tour in April.

Sam Smith

The British vocalist, who will release ‘The Thrill Of It All’ on November 3, will call in Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin, Birmingham and London, where he’ll play two nights at the O2, between March 20 and April 7.
