Top Tickets This Week: Foals, Idles, DMA’s, Sounds Of The City, The Flaming Lips, Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour, D-Block Europe, Headie One, Billy Bragg, Fisherman’s Friends, Katherine Ryan and more


Foals have confirmed three summer shows, with performances lined up at Swansea’s Singleton Park on June 4, London’s O2 Academy Brixton on June 29 and Leeds’ Millenium Square on July 9, with the latter forming part of the Sounds Of The City series. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 16. The dates will follow their previously announced rescheduled spring tour.

Sounds Of The City (Leeds) Featuring Foals, Idles And DMA’s

Idles (pictured), Foals and DMA’s will headline Sounds Of The City 2021 in Leeds. Idles will top the bill at Millenium Square on July 8, joined by special guests the Big Moon, Foals will headline the next day and DMA’s on July 10 with support from the Lathums. More acts and special guests are due to be announced. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 16.

The series will also take over Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl next summer, after this year’s dates were postponed in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Flaming Lips

Fresh from releasing ‘American Head‘ in September, the band have confirmed a show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on July 23. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 16. The performance falls in between rescheduled dates in Galway, Liverpool, Leeds, Aylesbury and Bexhill-on-Sea that were postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour

Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour will return to arenas around the UK in early 2022, including three huge shows at the O2 Arena in London between February 11 and 13. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now, prior to general sale at 10am on October 16.

D-Block Europe

The London hip hop duo will bring The Blueprint Tour to Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester and London, where they’ll perform at the O2 Arena, during May. Tickets are on sale now.

Headie One

The grime MC will embark on his biggest headline UK and Ireland tour to date in May, calling in Bournemouth, Bristol, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham and London, where he’ll perform at the SSE Arena Wembley. Tickets are on sale now. Headie One hits the road in support of his recent debut full-length, ‘Edna’.

The singer-songwriter and activist will hit the road for an extensive UK and Ireland tour in autumn 2021, kicking off in Gateshead on October 21 and wrapping up at the Roundhouse in London on November 27. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 16.

The Port Isaac vocal group have confirmed shows across the UK for their Unlocked And Unleashed Tour in 2021, with stops lined up during spring, September, October, November and December. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 16.

The comedian and star of Netflix hit The Duchess has announced an initial 50 dates for her Missus Tour of the UK and Ireland, which gets underway on September 2, 2021 in Crawley and runs through to the end of May 2022.  Pre-sale tickets are available now, ahead of general sale at 10am on October 16.
