This Week’s New Releases: Texas, Del Amitri And k.d. lang

Things have slowed down slightly ths week, but there’s still plenty on offer. Texas are back with the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Jump On Board’, the tracks for which were inspired by the shelved outtakes from the recording sessions for their 1997 LP ‘White On Blonde’. Del Amitri have also returned with their first new music in nearly two decades and k.d. lang has put out what she’s coined a “Brand new collection of classic remixes”.

This Week’s New Releases: Taylor Swift, Cheap Trick And Max Richter

People have been waiting a long time for some of this week’s records. Taylor Swift has released a completely re-recorded version of her 2008 album ‘Fearless’, which also includes previously unreleased songs written during the same sessions.

Cheap Trick, meanwhile, have finally followed up 2017’s ‘We’re All Alright!’ and Max Richter has put out the follow-up and a companion piece to 2020’s ‘Voices’.
