This Week’s Top Tickets: Mariah Carey, Brad Paisley, BLACKPINK, Impractical Jokers, Gojira, Bear’s Den, Skunk Anansie and more

Mariah Carey has added spring UK and European dates to her Caution World Tour, which shares its name with the pop vocalist’s latest album, out now. Country superstar Brad Paisley, meanwhile, will play London’s O2 Arena And Dublin’s 3Arena in October, joined by Chris Lane for both dates, who will be making his UK live debut. K-pop girl group sensation BLACKPINK have added a Manchester stop on May 21 to their world tour.

Impractical Jokers have announced a UK and Ireland tour starring the Tenderloins, that’s the guys from Comedy Central’s Impractical Jokers, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano. They’ll bring their The Cranjis McBasketball World Comedy Tour to arenas in October.

The pop vocalist has lined up a show at Dublin’s 3Arena on May 22 plus three nights at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall as part of the European leg of her Caution World Tour, which shares its name with the singer’s latest album, out now. Brad Paisley

With their new album, ‘So That You Might Hear Me’, due out on April 26, Andrew Davie and Kev Jones have announced shows in Nottingham, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Southampton and London, where they’ll play the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on April 23. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on February 8, prices start at £22.50 plus fees.

Skunk Anansie

Skunk Anansie will take over London’s O2 Academy Brixton on August 17, Manchester Academy the following day and O2 Academy Bristol on August 19, hot on the heels of their recently announced headline set at this year’s Beautiful Days Festival in Devon. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on February 8, priced £27.50/£32.50 plus fees.

U2 Hit #1 On Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart For January

It’s a new year so we thought we’d give you a new chart. For the next few months we’ll be bringing you monthly instalments listing not just our top 20 best selling acts, but a whopping 40!

Kicking things off at #1 are Irish rockers U2, who have soared to the top spot with The Joshua Tree tourFollowing closely behind are  Little Mix who have lined up a Summer Shout Out tour and autumn Glory Days tour. Rock royalty Black Sabbath have risen to the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart, relegating Coldplay to second place. Making up the rest of the top five we have The Stone RosesBeyonce and Jess Glynne.

Rihanna is also having a good week, going from #15 last week to #7 this week. Meanwhile, not having such a good time are Lionel Richie and Paul Simon, who have gone from #7 and #9 last week to #10 and #15 this week, respectively.

In a surprise move The Next Step have risen to the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart, relegating last week’s #1, Adele, to #3. At #2 and up five places are Coldplay, with Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen completing the top five.

Returning to the chart this week we have Jeff Lynnes ELOJess Glynne and 5 Seconds Of Summer, among others. However, we also seem to have some acts who are on their way out, with Catfish and the Bottlemen down from #10 to #15 and Kygo dropping five places to take up the last position on the chart.

This week there are some massive shows going on sale. Seasick Steve has announced a 10 Years Out Of The Doghouse one-off show at the SSE Arena Wembley, Maximo Park are playing a huge hometown gig this summer and Kaiser Chiefs are heading to Cardiff’s SSE Swalec Stadium, with Dizzee Rascal and Everything Everything, in July.

Adele Back On Top Of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart

Adele has proved that you can’t keep a good woman down and is back at #1 on Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart, pushing Stevie Wonder into second place, closely followed by Bruce Springsteen, who has risen from #8 on the last chart to #3 this week. Justin Bieber has also climbed into the top five this week, along with Muse.

The Tenderloins are not having a very good week as they’ve fallen from #3 to #9, but Dynamo has worked his magic and has managed to go from nearly leaving the top 20, being in last place, to rising to #13.

Stevie Wonder Steals #1 Spot On Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart

Stevie Wonder has done it, he’s taken the top spot from chart queen Adele, who is now sitting pretty at #2. Following closely behind are newcomers The Tenderloins, as well as Little Mix and Nashville In Concert.

Coldplay have left the top five this week and are now at #6, while Justin Bieber has climbed two places from last week to #7, but Bruce Springsteen has dropped a whopping six places to #8, with only Bristol Summer Series and Placebo below him in the top 10.
