This is the busiest week for new records we’ve had in a while. Suede have finally followed up 2018’s ‘The Blue Hour’, Rina Sawayama has dropped her sophomore LP, and The Mars Volta have returned with their first new album in a decade. Ringo Starr has also put out a four-track EP.

Turin Brakes will celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘The Optimist’ with a UK tour in autumn 2021, kicking off in Southampton on October 7 and concluding in Cardiff on October 24. The run also includes a London date at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on October 9. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 6.

Lewis Capaldi

The Scottish singer-songwriter will return to Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre for a performance on July 25, 2021. Tickets for the show go on general sale at 9am on November 6. Head here for pre-sale tickets.

Earlier in 2020, the 24-year-old rescheduled his gigs in London, Dublin, Belfast and Cork to 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic. He also headlines Lytham Festival, as well as Manchester’s Sounds of the City FestivalIsle of Wight FestivalLatitude Festival and TRNSMT Festival following the cancellation of this 2020’s events.

Snow Patrol

The indie giants will headline Scarborough Open Air Theatre on July 3, with tickets on general sale at 9am on November 6. Head here for pre-sale tickets. Their 2021 itinerary also includes appearances at the Isle Of Wight Festival, Lytham Festival, TRNSMT and Latitude Festival.

Duran Duran

The British pop legends will head to Scarborough Open Air Theatre on July 7, with tickets for the performance on general sale at 9am on November 6. Head here for pre-sale tickets.

Their 2021 tour plans also include a rescheduled gig at Dublin’s St. Annes Park as well as headlining sets at both the Isle of White Festival and Lytham Festival.

Doves will perform at the Piece Hall, Halifax on June 19 as part of the Live At The Piece Hall series, before heading to Delamere Forest the following day, where they’ll play as part of the Forest Live concert series. Tickets for both dates go on sale at 9am on November 6.

Bloc Party/NME Awards Tour 2016

Bloc Party will headline the NME Awards Tour 2016, along with sets from Drenge, Ratboy and Bugzy Malone at shows in Cardiff, Southampton, Bristol, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Cambridge, London and Birmingham between January 29 and February 12.
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday, priced from £25.60 plus fees.

Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball

Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, Little Mix are among the latest acts to be announced for Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball, with Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande, David Guetta, Years & Years, Jess Glynne and Nathan Sykes playing the Saturday and Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Sigma and Charlie Puth playing the Sunday. The Jingle Bell Ball will take over the O2 in London on the weekend of December 5 and 6.
Tickets go on sale at 8am on Friday, priced at £50.00 plus fees.

Turin Brakes

The folk-rock troupe will support their upcoming new album, ‘Lost Property’, with a UK tour in early 2016. Stops include shows at London’s Union Chapel, Pontardawe Arts Centre and Edinburgh’s La Belle Angele, between February 18 and March 13.
Tickets are on sale from 10am on Friday, priced at £20.00 (£26.00 in London), plus fees.
