Bob Seger is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Lincoln Park, Michigan. Born in 1945, he is known for his roots rock 'n' roll and classic raspy, shouting voice, and boasts a career thats last over 50 years.
First inspired by Little Richard and Elvis Presley, Seger has recorded many rock and roll hits, including Night Moves, Turn the Page, and Like a Rock. He also co-wrote the Eagles number one hit 'Heartache Tonight'. Perhaps his most popular song, Old Time Rock and Roll was named one of the Songs of the Century in 2001, and was crowned the second most played Jukebox single of all time. Not content with just those titles, he also finds himself a member of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame AND the Songwriters Hall of Fame, too. Bob Seger is set to bow out with the Silver Bullet Band on the Travelin' Man Tour, which runs til spring 2019. It's set to be his last ever tour, so don't miss out. Absolutely Awesome! Everything a concert should be!

I have always, always loved Bob and his music. So hard to pick just one favorite, but I have to say when "Roll Me Away" is played, I'm right there on the back of that bike with arms outstretched and head lifted to the heavens. The words resonate, and the music amplifies the mood. I not only love the songs he sings, but the music itself as well. If I ever was able to see just one concert only, it was him. I always told my husband and kids that if he ever made it to our area, I wanted to go. It was on my bucket list. Well, they surprised me with birthday/Christmas tickets in December 2014 for a January 2015 concert! (Birthday Christmas Eve.) I couldn't wait! It was one of the best days of my life. The concert could not have been better. Bob's still got it! :) My only disappointment was that there were no back stage passes in that present bag, lol! Bob, I want that ride on the bike, and I want you to come back to my area so I can hear you again! WV girl loves ya!
