Shad Moss - aka Bow Wow (and formerly, Lil Bow Wow) is an American rapper and actor hailing from Columbus, Ohio. Born in 1987, he would burst into the hip-hop scene aged just 13, when he dropped his debut album, 'Beware of the Dog' - featuring THAT hit single with Snoop Dog, Bow Wow (That's My Name).
Dropping the 'Lil' moniker by 2003, he would continue on his path and notched up more Top 10 records with 'Unleashed', 'Wanted', and 'The Price of Fame' through the '00s. He also bagged top roles in films such as The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, and Like Mike, in which he played the lead role. Now the host of the hugely-popular RnB Fridays show in Australia, Bow Wow has announced he's retiring from rap - but not before one more album ('NYLTH') and a tour of Australia in September/October.
