Brian Fallon is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from New Jersey.
Starting his music career in 1997, he flitted between start-up bands, who recorded various EPs before fizzling out, time and time again. This pattern stopped when in early 2006, his band This Charming Man switched some members around and changed their name to The Gaslight Anthem.
As this formation, the band saw huge success. They released a total of five studio albums, and supported the likes of Springsteen at massive festival slots and tour dates, before the band went on hiatus in 2015.
Trying again, in 2011 he formed The Horrible Crowes with Ian Perkins. Their debut album, ‘Elsie’, was released in 2011. Fallon has since ventured into solo work, and released his debut solo album, ‘Painkillers’ in March 2016.
Brian Fallon returned with his sophomore solo record, 'Sleepwalkers', in February 2018. He heads to the US with Craig Finn in autumn, and will bring his Songs From The Hymnal tour to UK and European venues in February 2019, with extra dates added due to demand. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information on Stereoboard below.

In any walk of life, successful people are the ones who know how to maximise their strengths while working on, or disguising, their weaknesses. It’s a philosophy the Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon has adopted as his modus operandi to great effect in recent years, including on his impressively diverse second solo album, ‘Sleepwalkers’.

When we last spoke to Brian Fallon it was November 2016, eight months on from the release of his debut solo album, 'Painkillers’. He was riding the wave of newfound creative freedom that comes with going it alone, already writing songs for its follow up and making promises for the future. Unlike many of us heading into a new year, he kept most of them.
