Buddy—real name Simmie Sims—is a rapper, singer, dancer and actor from Compton, California.
He began his music career at the age of 15, when he began working with Pharrell Williams, eventually releasing his debut mixtape 'Idle Time' in 2014. He has since gone on to drop two studio albums in the shape of 2018's 'Harlan & Alondra' and 'Superghetto' in 2022, and is also a member of the supergroup Zoink Gang, alongside fellow hip hop artists JID, Smino and Guapdad 4000. As well as headlining his own shows, he has also supported the likes of Joey Bada$$, and has collaborated with a number of huge names including Wiz Khalida, A$AP Rocky, Chance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Miley Cyrus and Khalid.
