Cage The Elephant are an American rock band from Kentucky, consisting of lead vocalist Matthew Shultz, guitarist Matt Shultz, bassist Daniel Tichenor, drummer Jared Champion, guitarist Nick Bockrath and Matthan Minster on guitar and keys.
Since their formation in 2006 the band have released four albums. Their self-titled debut came out in 2008, followed by ‘Thank You, Happy Birthday’ in 2011, ‘Melophobia’ in 2013 and ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’ in 2015. Their new album, 'Social Cues', arrived in April 2019. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as having supported the likes of Queens of The Stone Age, Silversun Pickups, Manchester Orchestra and the Black Keys. After dates in the UK and Europe, Cage The Elephant have now lined up an intimate Brighton show for June 2020.
