Carmody is a singer-songwriter from South-East London whose distinct melodies and candid lyrics land her somewhere in the realm between folk and pop.
She has previously collaborated with artists such as Tom Misch, Alfa Mist and Nick Leng. Her first EP, 'Out to Sea', written with Misch, gained a number of supporters - in the radio world with Annie Mac and Zane Lowe, and on the worldwide web, with one of YouTube's biggest music channels, Majestic Casual. She's also dropped a string of singles: Skin, The Light of Me, Before You Knew Me, Missing,and Drifting to name a few. Her track 'With You' was also crowned iTunes single of the week. Now she is about to release her debut solo EP 'Skin', which will come out on her own label, Impavid Records, in April 2018. Following the success of her biggest headline show to date at London’s Bussey Building last November, Carmody has announced a cluster of shows for May this year.
