Cherry Ghost are an indie rock and chamber pop band hailing from Bolton. Formed in 2005 and consisting of frontman Simon Aldred, guitarist Jim Rhodes, keyboard-player Ben Parsons, bassist Phil Anderson, and drummer Grenville Harrop, the band are signed to Heavenly Records.
One of the only bands to perform on Later... with Jools Holland before officially releasing any of their music, they would go on to storm the UK Top 10 with their debut album ‘Thirst for Romance’ in 2007. Record #2 followed in 2010 with ‘Beneath This Burning Shoreline’. Following a quieter few years, they returned in 2014 with a UK tour and their long-awaited third collection, 'Herd Runners'.
