Donald Glover - better known by his stage name Childish Gambino - is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, producer, writer and actor hailing from Los Angeles California, born back in 1983 at Edwards Air Force Base.

Starting out his career in the arts as a YouTube comedian who created sketches and videos with Derrick Comedy in the mid-Noughties, Glover would make his debut on television and as a musician in around 2007/08.

Since then, he’s put out a collection of mixtapes, singles and EPs, and has even notched up two studio albums too. His first LP effort ‘Camp’ reached #11 in the charts in 2011 and his second, ‘Because the Internet’ dropped in December 2013, this time breaking into the Top 10. 'Awaken my Love', dropped in December 2016, and saw a Gold certification, reach #5 on the US Billboard 200 and #2 on the US RnB/Hip Hop charts!

He’s a sweet performer on stage and has picked up a global following, and can be seen performing across North America, Europe, and here in the UK.

So far, Glover has been confirmed to headline Lovebox Festival in London in July before an autumn North American tour supported by Rae Sremmurd, which is followed by further shows alongside Vince Staples later in the year.
