Christina Grimmie is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Marlton, New Jersey. Born in 1994, she would originally find fame performing covers of famous pop artists such as Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus on YouTube. Her online fame would help her bag jobs as a backup singer, and even a spot on the DigiTour alongside other YouTubers musicians.
In 2014, having now decided to start writing her own original material, Grimmie would audition for The Voice, and after impressing all four judges, she would finish in third place. Now signed to Island Records, she made her major label debut with Must Be Love in July 2014, and a new album is due later in the year.
