CJ Ramone, real name Christopher Joseph Ward, is an American punk singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known for being the bass player and songwriter for The Ramones.
He was a member Axe Attack, who released two albums; ‘Dead Soldier's Revenge’ in 1985 and ‘Nitemare’ in 1986, before he joined The Ramones in 1989. The band disbanded in 1996, and he went on to form a variety of other bands, eventually settling on a solo career and releasing his debut album, ‘Reconquista’, in 2012, which was followed by ‘Last Chance to Dance’ in 2014. He released his latest album, ‘American Beauty’, in March 2017 on Fat Wreck Chords. CJ Ramone heads to the UK for a nationwide tour in autumn in support of ‘American Beauty’.
