Liverpool The Philharmonic Hall on March 19 2014
The Philharmonic Hall is an excellent venue and the acoustics are superbly matched with the music of Clannad and Mary Black. Moya's voice has not lost any of its haunting sounds and there could be no better musicians to back her than her brothers and uncles.

Seeing them live is an awesome experience and listening to their new material such as Vellum, Rhapsody na gCrann and Brave Enough alongside some of their more well known songs, Theme from Harry's Game and the compilation of songs from the film Robin of Sherwood is a privilege. The atmosphere was both respectfully quiet and at the same time there seemed to be electricity in the air.

Personally, the highlights of the concert were hearing the fantastic vocals and the instrumentals which blended perfectly and also where would you get a fantastic group of musicians and the vocals of Moya and Mary Black in the same place which came together in the final encore. The worst moment was when they left the stage - night over, but what a night!!! The encore and the audiences applause are still ringing in my ears.
