The CMA Songwriters Series was launched in 2005 in New York City. Aiming to expose the songwriters that have penned some of country music's biggest hits, the series has featured nearly 200 of music’s most gifted storytellers.
Putting on shows across the world, the series has seen performances from the likes of Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Tucker Wetmore, Little Big Town, Russell Dickerson, Caitlyn Smith, Kacey Musgraves, the cast of Nashville, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Colbie Caillat and many more. The CMA Songwriters Series returns to London in March 2026 as part of Country2Country festival, with performances from Aaron Raitiere, Ashley Cooke, Kristian Bush and Meg McRee, and hosted by Keith Urban.
