Coachella Tickets, Events & Festivals in 2019

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an American music festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, and taking place in April every year, spread over two consecutive weekends. It sees some of the best names in rock, dance, and music in general taking part in a massive party that attracts almost 600,000 people.

It would first take place back in 1999 as a kind of 'anti-Woodstock', following the actual Woodstock festival that took places just months before. Organisers decided to try and emulate European festivals and pick their acts based on their sound and artistry rather than their popularity.

Over the years, Coachella has grown into one of the biggest music festival in the whole of the United States, and has witnessed performances from the likes of Oasis, Aphex Twin, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Mos Def, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Pixies, The Cure, Prince, Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Muse, Arcade Fire, Outkast, and even Snoop Dogg & Dr Dre alongside Tupac Shakur's hologram.

2016 saw headliners LCD Soundsystem, Guns N’ Roses and Calvin Harris take to the stage, with appearances from Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Jack U, M83, Underworld, The Kills, Foals, Ice Cube, Disclosure, Zedd, ASAP Rocky, Chvches, Halsey, James Bay, Sia, Major Lazer, Flume, Beach House, The 1975, Rancid and Miike Snow, and more.

Now, in 2018, the festival is set to get even bigger and better than before. Set to to return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California across the weekends of April 13-15 and April 20-22, The Weeknd, Beyoncé and Eminem will headline, followed by appearances from SZA, Tyler, the Creator, the War On Drugs, Vince Staples, Haim, Post Malone, St. Vincent, Fleet Foxes, Migos, A Perfect Circle, Cardi B, Miguel, the Bronx, Priests, Benjamin Clementine and many more.
