Coldrain is a Japanese metalcore band from Nagoya, consisting of vocalist Masato, guitarists Y.K.C (Yokochi) and Sugi, RxYxO (Ryo) on bass guitar and drummer Katsuma.
Formed in 2007, from members of bands Wheel of Life and AVER, the band signed with VAP a year later and released their debut single, Fiction, and headed out on their first nationwide tour. The band released their debut album, ‘Final Destination’, in 2009, followed by their second album, ‘The Enemy Inside’, in 2011. Their third album, ‘The Revelation’, came out in 2013, and the band toured in support of Bullet for My Valentine in Europe. They signed internationally with Hopeless Records in 2014, and released their fourth album, ‘Vena’, in 2015, before 'Fateless' in 2017.
