Common is an American rapper hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Born in 1972, he has been one of the most influential rappers in the underground hip-hop scene of the ‘90s, first emerging with his debut LP ‘Can I Borrow a Dollar?’ back in 1992.
As the years went by, Common would enter the mainstream and even found himself on the receiving end of Grammy Award nominations, picking up two as well as half a dozen other gongs. Also a talented actor, he is still writing rhymes and releasing tracks to this day, and returned with his tenth studio album ‘Nobody’s Smiling’ in 2014. He released 'Black America Again' in 2016.
