He began uploading videos of himself singing to Youtube in 2008, eventually gaining the attention of R&B star Ne-Yo, who had seen a video of Maynard covering his track Beautiful Monster. He released his debut album 'Contrast' in 2012, followed by 'Covers' in 2016, and has collaborated with the likes of Wiley, Ty Dolla $ign, Shaggy, Snoop Dogg, Rita Ora and, of course, his mentor Ne-Yo. He was lip syncing in the beginning of the concert but after a while he turned it off, turns out he had COVID the night and was feeling horrible. He even CANCELLED the next night because he was feeling so bad. I had SO much fun at the concert, he was so funny and he was always full of energy. His voice was also amazing!!! I met anth afterwards too, he gave me a hug and wished me happy birthday! The concert was my favorite that I have ever been to, and if he comes back to Texas I am DEFINITELY GOING AGAIN. Love you Conor
