Example’s kicked off 2011 with an almighty bang, his new single is currently riding high in the iTunes chart at No.1, earlier this year he featured on the Wretch 32 No.2 smash ‘Unorthodox’ and Giggs’s ‘Look Over Your Shoulder’. He also bagged one of the biggest viral track hits of 2011 with the killer Skream collaboration ‘Shot Yourself in the Foot Again’ which received over 3.5 million YouTube views, climbed to #1 on HypeMachine and became a viral hit across the world.
There is no rest for man of the moment Example, he’s back and means business with the announcement of his third major headline tour. Boundless energy, an onslaught of monster rave anthems and backed by a full on band the Example live experience is a force to be reckoned with – energy levels are kranked up to the max and feet aren’t touching the ground.
The tour follows a relentless summer of festival dates including Glastonbury, Wireless, Lovebox, Big Chill, V2011, Creamfields and a return to the Balearics to headline Ibiza and Majorca Rocks. It also comes after the release of Example’s third studio album, 'Playing in the Shadows' which features production from the biggest and most credible names in dance music today – Chase & Status, Nero, Michael Woods, Skream and Faithless.
