Liam Gallagher: “Mumford And Sons Look Like Amish People”

Liam Gallagher has taken aim at yet another musician, this time criticising Mumford and Sons for their folk attire. The Beady Eye frontman also went on to criticise his brother and ex-Oasis bandmate Noel Gallagher, comparing him to ‘X Factor’ judge Louis Walsh.
Speaking to Shortlist about Mumford and Sons, Gallagher described the ‘Sigh No More’ band as “Amish People”. He said: "They look like fucking Amish people. You know, them ones with the big sideys that don't use electricity? Growing their own food and putting barns up. I need music to be a bit more sexy and played by people who look a bit fucking dangerous."
He went on to discuss his brother Noel Gallagher, saying: "Our kid looks more like Louis Walsh these days."
Beady Eye are currently touring the US for the first time. Not that an invite was necessarily offered, but the tour meant that Liam was forced to miss his brother’s wedding to Sara MacDonald, which occurred last Saturday (June 18th).
