Turbogeist Close Debut UK Tour This Week With London Islington Garage Show

Latter day garage punk band Turbogeist wrap up their deut UK tour this week with a headline performance at London's Islington Garage venue tomorrow, Wednesday 21st September.

Fronted by one Jimmy Jagger aka Jimbo Mutant Shinobi, also known as the son of Mick Jagger and Jeri Hall, London Turbogeist play a fast twist on The Replacements and The Misfits, and sing furiously about addiction, girls and beer. Renowned for their explosive and energetic live performances, the 21st will see the band play their largest headline London show to date.

Support at the show comes from Whales in Cubicles (stage time 7.45pm), a band that have carved their own sound out of naughties pop and 90s alternative rock. Think The Pixies, Dinosaur Jr and Pavement. Thrush Metal (stage time 8.30pm) follow. A punk rock n roll four piece girl band that formed in 2009 snd sight Roky Erickson, Ween and The Toy Dolls as their main influences, before Antlered Man (stage time 9.15pm) unleash a fusion of aggressive riff-driven guitars and delicate orchestral sounds. Turbogeist hit the stage at 10pm!
