Chris Brown's 'Fortune' Vandalised With 'This Man Beats Women' Stickers At Cambridge HMV

American singer and rapper Chris Brown as dealt a blow today, after a member of the British public adorned fresh copies of his brand new fifth studio album ‘Fortune’ with warning stickers that read ‘Do not buy this album! This man beats women!’
The stickers, which come after Brown’s highly-controversial and widely-publicised incident involving Barbados-born beauty Rihanna, were found on copies of ‘Fortune’ in a Cambridge-based branch of HMV, and may have been planted by the Cambridge University Student Union Women's Campaign - who incidentally posted the first picture of the stickers.
HMV have since issued a statement via E! News, saying: “It was very much an isolated incident and nothing to do with HMV or representing our views. It would appear a member of the public popped into one of our stores yesterday and stickered a handful of CDs.
“These were spotted and quickly removed, but, before we could act, the individual concerned must have taken a photo and sent it to the media. To our knowledge there are no further stickers in our stores now.”
The stickers highlight the public’s refusal to forget about the incident, and the widespread disgust at the attack on Rihanna - but one person who’s let the assault go is Rihanna herself, who seems to be set on rekindling her relationship with Brown.
