Lawson Confirm October One Off 'Perspective' London Show

Tuesday, 04 October 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Lawson will play a one off show at London's O2 Academy Islington on October 25.

The London band will perform their sophomore album, 'Perspective', which was released in July, in full, alongside singles from their previous album, 2012's 'Chapman Square'. The band said:

"This is going to be a very special one night only show. We will be performing 'Perspective' in full, all our previous singles from 'Chapman Square' as well as some old rarities and surprises. It's going to be the longest set we have ever played and hopefully it's going to go down as one of our all time favourite and most important shows. We really hope all our fans and friends from around the UK and possibly even further afield can make the trip to London on the 25th to share a special evening with us. We can't wait to finally hear you sing Only Water and I Look Anyway back at us. Tickets are on sale on Friday, we hope to see you down the front. Lawson x"

Tickets are on general sale at 9am on October 7.

Lawson Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Tue October 25 2016 - LONDON O2 Academy Islington

The National - I Am Easy To Find (Album Review)
Fri 31 May 2019
As we’ve come to know the National over the last two decades, we’ve also become familiar with the different facets of Matt Berninger’s appeal. If we were to split the frontman’s charm into thirds, to one side we’d have his lackadaisical, sometimes off-kilter delivery, in the middle his all-hell-breaking-loose animalistic shrieks, and to the other side his highly visual lyrical style.

Matthew and the Atlas - Morning Dancer (Album Review)
Fri 10 May 2019
Three albums in and Matthew and the Atlas seem to be in a position to capitalise on all aspects of their previous work. Matt Hegarty’s adventure started with some folky EPs, followed by the synth-based 2014 debut album ‘Other Rivers’. ‘Temple’ then retreated to a more stripped down approach, but with ‘Morning Dancer’ we’re treated to a more eclectic collection.
