Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have shared the first single from their new Silk Sonic collaborative project.

After teasing the band in February, Leave The Door Open serves as the first preview of the Grammy Award winners' first album together, 'An Evening with Silk Sonic', though a release date is still to be confirmed.

Co-written by Mars and .Paak alongside Brody Brown, and co-produced by Mars and D'Mile, the smooth track taps into the easy listening aesthetic of R&B and comes paired with a video co-directed by Mars and Florent Dechard. There's also an introduction from the legendary Bootsy Collins, who is described as the record's "special guest host."

It's the first new music from Mars since he appeared with Chris Stapleton on Ed Sheeran's 'No.6 Collaborations Project' track Blow. His last full-length came in the form of 2016's '24K Magic'. Paak, meanwhile, dropped 'Ventura' in 2019.

Mars and .Paak toured extensively together in 2017, with the latter opening on Mars' 24K Magic World Tour.
