Belle and Sebastian have rearranged their show in Bristol to 2022.
The indie-pop band will now take over Lloyds Amphitheatre on July 13 as part of the Bristol Beacon Presents concert series. Original tickets are valid, with the remainder on sale now.
The announcement follows the government's roadmap announcements regarding the coronavirus pandemic. Bristol Beacon artistic director, Todd Wills said:
"We know that ticket holders and music fans are eager to return to live music events as soon as its safe, so we know that many will be disappointed that Nile Rogers and CHIC and Belle and Sebastian won’t be gracing the Bristol Harbourside this summer.
"We want to ensure that these shows can go ahead exactly as intended, and with 21st June being the very earliest that large-scale events can take place according to the government’s roadmap, there is little time to guarantee we can make this happen.
"We've been working with the artists to secure new dates for these events, and we are really happy that we can still bring these musical icons to Bristol next summer."
