Creeper Announce 'American Noir' EP, Post New Single Midnight

Creeper have unveiled details of a new EP.
'American Noir' is due out on July 30 via Roadrunner and serves as an epilogue to the narrative presented on the band's latest album, 'Sex, Death & The Infinite Void', released in 2020. Since then, drummer Dan Bratton has departed and frontman Will Gould launched a side project, Salem.
News of the EP follows a number of cryptic teaser posts across Creeper's social media channels. As a preview, they've unveiled its anthemic first single Midnight, which opens with a delicate piano introduction before Gould and Hannah Greenwood's shared dramatic vocals kick in. Gould said:
"This new EP is comprised of material we'd written over the course of the last album. Lavish and tragic, it tells the story of the days following the death of our protagonist Roe. Beginning with Midnight you'll find Hannah and I experimenting with our voices together like never before."
They'll support the release with a headline UK tour in December. Prior to that, they'll appear at the newly announced Download Pilot festival in June and the Reading andLeeds Festivals in August. Salem also tour the UK during October.
