ZZ Top Share La Grange From Upcoming Live Album 'Raw'

ZZ Top have shared La Grange as a new single.
Originally released in 1973 as part of the legendary band's 'Tres Hombres' album, the track will feature on their new live album, 'Raw', due out on July 22.
Along with the rest of the LP, it was recorded at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, in their native Texas. It's something of a homage to a real life brothel called The Chicken Ranch, situated in the town of La Grange, not far from New Braunfels. ZZ Top's late bassist Dusty Hill once revealed:
"Shortly after the record was released, they shut it down, and I went around and spent a lot of my time in Texas explaining to people that we didn’t have anything to do with that."
Billy Gibbons added: "That place was the scene of many a rite of passage. The closing line, 'But I might be mistaken,' was inspired by Buddy Holly's Peggy Sue Got Married."
ZZ Top will embark on the Raw Whisky Tour of the US this summer. They continue their current tour schedule in British Columbia, Canada tomorrow (April 26).
