Cat Power To Recreate Bob Dylan's 1966 Show At London's Royal Albert Hall In November

Cat Power has announced a very special London show.
The American singer-songwriter will recreate the set of Bob Dylan's renowned 1966 concert at London's Royal Albert Hall at the same venue on November 5, playing the songs in the same order, with the first half of the set being acoustic and the second electric with her band. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday (July 15). She said:
"When I finally got the opportunity to play The RAH, it was a no brainer. I just wanted to sing Dylan songs. And as much as any, this collection of his songs, to me, belong there.”
The announcement arrives following Power's appearance in London this weekend, supporting Pearl Jam at the first of their two BST Hyde Park shows. She also has gigs lined up across North America throughout the rest of the summer, and will support Jack White at his shows in Florida and Mexico City in September.
She released her third collection of covers, aptly named 'Covers', back in January. Her last album of original material was 2018's 'Wanderer'.
