Peter Gabriel Announces Fall North American Tour, Shares New Single

Peter Gabriel has announced a fall North American leg of i/o - The Tour.
The renowned musician will kick things off at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City on September 8 and conclude the run at Los Angeles' Kia Forum on October 13. The tour also includes a stop at Madison Square Garden in New York on September 18.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 10. Meanwhile, head below to check out Gabriel's new single, the piano and string-led Playing For Time, which he says is about, "time, mortality and memories and the idea that each of us has a planet full of memories which get stashed inside the brain."
The track is the latest cut to be shared from his upcoming album, 'i/o', his first full-length project in over a decade. Though a release date for the record is still to be revealed, the arrival of its previous singles has coincided with events in the lunar calendar, and Playing For Time is no exception, dropping in line with the March full moon.
The former Genesis vocalist will support 'i/o' with a summer UK and European arena tour. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
