Haçienda Classiçal To Headline Sounds Of The City Summer Show In Manchester

Haçienda Classiçal are the first headliners to be announced for the 2024 edition of Manchester's Sounds Of The City.
DJ Graeme Park and Musical Director Tim Crooks, backed by the Manchester Camerata Orchestra, will return to Castlefield Bowl on July 13, with special guests still to be revealed. Park commented:
"What?! We’re back once again! Like renegade masters? Oh yes. I hope you’re all excited as I am about Haçienda Classiçal returning to Castlefield Bowl for the eighth time which is quite the achievement. Manchester, we love you. See you next summer for another epic night of amazing music reimagined for the 21st century. It’s a privilege and honour to be part of this incredible journey that we couldn’t undertake without your valued support."
"It’s such an honour to present Haçienda Classiçal with Manchester Camerata for another SOTC show at Castlefield bowl 2024," added Crooks. "We’ll bring top tunes for the summer, you bring your wellies, and the sun will shine on us all."
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday (September 15). Further acts for the Sounds Of The City series will be confirmed over the next few months.
Previous big names to feature at the event include Porcupine Tree, Bastille, Sam Fender, Paolo Nutini, The Charlatans, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Stereophonics, Lewis Capaldi, Catfish and the Bottlemen, James, Blossoms, Shed Seven, Rag'n'Bone Man, Foals, The National, Elbow, Kylie, The Kooks, Primal Scream, The Wombats, and Pixies.
