Sophie Lloyd has unveiled details of her debut album.
'Imposter Syndrome' is due out on November 10 via Autumn Records, with the news arriving alongside the release of the record's title track, which finds the rock musician collaborating with Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale.
Offering an effervescent guitar workout alongside Hale's passionate powerhouse vocals, it comes with a video that you can watch below. Lloyd commented:
"I’ve been a fan of hers for years growing up, and when I decided to do a collaborative album, her name was the first one that came to mind. She did such an incredible job at taking such a personal thing and making a song that conveys all the emotion I have felt for years."
Hale added: "I’ve been garnering inspiration from Sophie Lloyd for years! When Sophie asked me to put lyric and song to her amazing instrumental work we talked in depth about how this album has been a tool in helping her overcome her feelings of otherness.
"It was like thumbing through her diary and also like staring at myself in the mirror. I hope that this song will give strength to anyone who needs it. It was an honour to draw my weapons and with such a talented and stunning soul!"
It follows the summer single Runaway featuring Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr, as well as the previously shared album tracks Fall Of Man with Trivium’s Matt Heafy, Lost featuring Cole Rolland and Do Or Die with Nathan James.
Other guest vocalists on the LP include Atreyu’s Brandon Saller, Tyler Connolly from Theory of a Deadman, Black Stone Cherry’s Chris Robertson and more that you can see on the tracklist below.
