Caity Baser Announces 'Still Learning' Mixtape And Accompanying Spring UK & Ireland Tour

Friday, 03 November 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Caity Baser has announced her Still Learning Tour for spring 2024.

The rising pop artist has lined up UK and Ireland shows for March and April, including dates at London's Eventim Apollo and a homecoming show in Southampton where she grew up. Baser will also visit Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Cardiff, Birmingham, Bristol and Norwich.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 10. Confirming the dates, she said:

"Being on stage is my absolute favourite place to be, ever. My shows have been crazy - within a year I’ve gone from playing my first show to 150 people, to huge sold out shows ,massive festival main stages, everyone shouting back all the lyrics to me…which is still crazy to think about! But it’s only made me want to go bigger and better for this tour. So expect a totally new show with some surprises and also the usual chaos ofc. CAN’T WAIT TO SEE U ALL THERE!!"

Discussing offering tickets at lower prices than her peers, she added: "As I hope people know by now, I like to make everything I do as accessible as possible to everyone, and I wouldn't want someone to not come to one of my shows because of money or whatever - especially with everything that's going on in the world at the moment.  We’re all in this together and without all of my fans none of this would be happening. You got me here, so you should be there at my shows!

"So.. I asked my team to keep the ticket and mixtape prices as low as possible for my fans (they call themselves the Slaysers). And I’ve also put the mixtape at a fiver for my Slaysers - they’re super limited and I hope u love them as much as I do! See u all on tour next year!!"

The trek shares its name with the 21-year-old's aforementioned second mixtape, 'Still Learning', which is due out on March 15 via EMI Records/Chosen Music. Comprising 14 tracks co-written by Baser, it's previewed by the empowering, poppy single I Love Making Bad Boys Cry, which will also feature the previously shared songs Prett Boys, X&Y and Why Can't I Have Two? (2468).

Baser dropped her debut mixtape, 'Lil CB', in 2021, followed by the 'Thanks for Nothing, See You Never' EP in early 2023.

This spring, she also teamed up with Mae Muller and Stefflon Don on the Sigala track Feels This Good, as well as featuring on Joel Corry's Dance Around. In June, she released her own single, Leave Me Alone, though it won't appear on the mixtape.
