Busted Announce Live And Extended Editions Of 'Greatest Hits 2.0' With New Song One Of These Days

Busted have laid out plans for two new albums.
The band have shared details of an alternate live version of this year's 'Greatest Hits 2.0' as well as an extended edition titled 'Greatest Hits 2.0 Another Present For Everyone'.
Both set for release on January 5, the former will feature songs recorded during the band's 20th Anniversary And Greatest Hits Tour this year, while the latter will include their new pop-rock song, One of These Days. Released today, it marks the trio's first single since dropping their star-studded, chart-topping collection of reworked hits in September. Taking to Instagram, the band wrote:
"One Of These Days is out, AND our Another Present For Everyone Greatest Hits 2.0 Album re-release is available to pre-order now! We’ve been busy designing these for you since tour and can’t wait for you to get your hands on them. A tonne of photos from tour as well as live tracks AND the new single One Of These Days.
"We wrote One Of These Days in LA earlier this year, one of the first times we got back in the room to write together and it just felt really good. So we wanted it to be out there for you to enjoy too. It’s been a massive year for us and we couldn’t have done all of this without you all, we are so thrilled that there is so much love for Busted coming out of 2023 and promise you now, there’s a lot more to come. Busted x"
Guitarist-vocalist Charlie Simpson added: "We are stoked to be releasing live recordings from our Greatest Hits UK and Ireland Arena tour. We had the best time ever on that tour and we are so pleased to be able to relive it over and over again with the live recordings!"
Simpson, James Bourne and Matt Willis have a series of outdoor UK shows scheduled for 2024, including a concert at East Brighton Park on the south coast in May as part of the Brighton Valley Festival Series. They'll wrap up 2023 with an appearance at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena in London on December 9.
