Monday, 11 March 2024 Written by Jon Stickler

The Wolfe Tones have announced their final London performance.

The legendary Irish folk band — Tommy Byrne, Noel Nagle and Brian Warfield — are set to retire next year, bringing an end to six decades of performing together.

They'll bid farewell to fans in the UK with a huge show at Finsbury Park on July 5, joined by punk legends The Undertones, The Sharon Shannon Big Band, The Scratch and Brògeal. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday (March 15).

The new date will take place alongside a series of summer gigs in Ireland, which will see them visit Killarney, Cork, Wexford, Letterkenny, Galway and Castlebar. They'll also play arena concerts in Belfast and Dublin in October. Tickets for those dates are on sale.
