Nick Cave has released a new solo track called Song For Amy.
The orchestral piece was written and recorded for the new Amy Winehouse biopic Back To Black, which features a score composed and recorded by Cave and Bad Seeds bandmate and frequent collaborator Warren Ellis.
Back To Black director Sam Taylor-Johnson said in a statement: "Nick and Warren were the only musicians in my mind to score Back To Black."
'Back To Black: Songs From The Original Motion Picture' came out today alongside the film, which you can watch a trailer for below.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds recently announced the UK and European leg of The Wild God Tour for the autumn. The trek shares its name with their upcoming album, 'Wild God', which will arrive on August 30. Head here to check out the title track.
Cave will play solo shows in Australia in April and May, and Europe in June and July. Tickets are on sale now.
