James Blunt Confirms 2025 UK And European Arena Shows For 'Back To Bedlam' 20th Anniverary Tour

James Blunt has announced a run of UK and European arena shows for early 2025.
The British singer-songwriter will perform at Belfast's SSE Arena, Leeds First Direct Arena, Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Manchester's AO Arena and London's O2 Arena between February 11 and 16, before further dates in Belgium, France, Italy and Switzerland. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time next Friday (May 31).
The Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour will see Blunt celebrating the 20th anniversary of his 2004 debut album, 'Back To Bedlam', the best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK, and the biggest selling debut album by a British artist. He said:
"I’ve been touring now for twenty years, and really, it’s only 'Back To Bedlam' that people want to hear… so on that album’s twentieth anniversary, what better way to celebrate than to head out on the Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour! I’ll play all the songs from 'Back To Bedlam' in full, from start to finish, and chuck in the better known songs from later albums to finish. It’s going to be, well, it pains me to say it… beautiful."
The record will also be reissued as a special remastered 20th anniversary edition on October 11. Blunt continued:
"I’ve released seven studio albums, but 'Back To Bedlam' was the one people actually bought. So on its twentieth anniversary, the record label and I thought we should repackage it with some early demos, and milk it for all it’s worth. It was one of the biggest selling albums of the Noughties, so here’s hoping it makes a dent in the 20’s."
The 50-year-old will spend most of the summer touring Europe in support of his latest album, 'Who We Used To Be', which arrived last October via Atlantic Records. The dates include a headline slot at Dublin's Wider Than Pictures and Limerick's Live At The Docklands in August. He also has Australian shows lined up in November.
