Dropkick Murphys Announce New Album 'For The People' With First Single Who'll Stand With Us?

Dropkick Murphy's have laid out plans for a new album.
'For The People' will arrive digitally through the band's Dummy Luck Music/Play It Again Sam on July 4, following up their two acoustic albums, 2022's 'This Machine Still Kills Fascists' and 2023's 'Okemah Rising', both of which interpreted the work of Woody Guthrie. Physical formats, complete with five bonus tracks, will follow on October 10.
Marking a return to their signature Celtic-punk sound, 'For The People' is previewed by Who’ll Stand With Us?, a rousing and politically-charged single that tackles social divisions in the United States with a message of unity and resilience. Rife with punk energy and raw vocals, it arrives with a powerful video directed by Jon Vulpine.
The album also features appearances from Billy Bragg, The Scratch, The Mary Wallopers, and original Dropkick Murphys singer Al Barr. Head below to check out the full tracklist, alongside the record's cover art, created by Shepard Fairey's design firm Studio Number One.
Dropkick Murphys will play a number of North American festivals over the coming months, alongside shows with Bad Religion on the co-headline Summer Of Discontent US Tour in July and August. They also have headline shows lined up across Europe in October and November. Tickets are on sale now.
