Sigrid has returned with her first solo release in nearly two years, Jellyfish.

A collaboration with long-time co-writer and producer Askjell Solstrand, who helped pen her 2019 breakout single Dynamite, the breezy indie-pop offering follows the Norwegian artist's 2023 'The Hype' EP. She said:

"It’s my slightly more free-spirited and joyous side. I wanted it to feel easy — like a Scandinavian summer. Flirting can feel so chaotic and stupid, but that’s the best part of it."

She added: “I love using my voice as a vessel to pour my heart out, but on this song, I wanted it to sound carefree, joyful and playful – maybe a bit nonchalant."

Having played a recent show at Oslo in London, Sigrid will appear at a number of European festivals over the coming months, including TRNSMT, Latitude, Tramlines, and Y Not

She released her latest album, 'How To Let Go', in 2022.
