Leigh-Anne has released a new single.
Arriving via Virgin Music Group, Burning Up draws from the Little Mix star's Caribbean roots, serving up vibrant, rhythmic beats produced by Elijah "GYW Eli" Ross, Yonatan Watts, and Khaled Rohaim. The singer said:
"Burning Up came to life at a writing camp in New York with some of the most inspiring writers and producers I’ve ever worked with. We went in with no rules, just vibes and instinct. The beat hit me instantly; it felt euphoric, high-energy, but there was something emotional running through it too, which made it more than just a banger. I played with my voice in ways I never have before with different textures, phrasing, pushing my range. It really stretched me as an artist, and I think you can feel that in the track."
The track builds on last month's single, Been A Minute, her first release since the 2024 EP 'No Hard Feelings'.
Having already played multiple festivals this summer, this weekend the vocalist will headline Manchester Pride on Saturday, as well as appearing on the Chevron Stage at Leeds Festival tomorrow and the same stage at Reading Festival on Sunday.
