Cavetown Announces New Album 'Running With Scissors'

Cavetown has laid out plans for a new studio album.
The British bedroom-pop artist, real name Robin Skinner, will release 'Running With Scissors' on January 16 via Futures Music Group, marking his first full-length project since 2022's 'Worm Food'.
To coincide with the announcement, Skinner has shared the new single, Rainbow Gal, a synth-driven offering that blends 8-bit textures with glitchy, dreamlike vocals.
"Rainbow Gal’ is like a light display turned into a song," he said. "She brings all the color into my life."
It follows the previously unveiled track from the record, Baby Spoon, which arrived last month.
Cavetown will join Pierce The Veil as a special guest on the UK and European leg of their I Can't Hear You World Tour this autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
