A vulnerable pop track that addresses mental health through poignant lyrics and stripped back production, it marks a new chapter for the British vocalist, whose most recent studio album, 'Unhealthy', was released in 2023. She said:
"A song for the depressed crew! Hope this makes you feel a little less alone when you listen to it. And hopefully it puts a smile on your face too. I can’t help but write songs about what I’m going through in my life and seems as though a lot of people feel the same. Let’s dance and cry and laugh all at once."
In the spring, she appeared on Aitch's track LUV?, taken from the Manchester rapper's second album, '4', which dropped in June.
