Jeff Goldblum has announced a companion album to his 2025 record, 'Still Blooming'.
Fresh from reprising his role as the Wizard in Wicked: For Good — the sequel to the 2024 film adaptation of the musical Wicked — the American actor and jazz pianist will release 'Night Blooms' on June 5 via Universal's recently revived Fontana label.
The album features 12 fresh versions of classic songs from Hollywood's golden era performed by Goldblum and his longtime band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. It also boasts contributions from special guests, including his Wicked co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande (on separate tracks), New Jersey's Charlie Puth, British singer-songwriter Dodie, classically-trained vocalist Maiya Sykes, jazz singer Melody Gardot and American actress Scarlett Johansson.
As a preview, Goldblum has shared the record's first single and opening track, Misty, a funky jazz makeover of the classic Erroll Garner song, arranged by bassist Alex Frank and organist Joe Bagg, and featuring smooth vocals from Gardot.
Goldblum and his band will play three shows at the Troubadour in West Hollywood this weekend, with more news and possible UK dates to be revealed soon.
