Melanie Martinez has shared another track from her upcoming fourth studio album.
Following her January single Possession, the dark, satirical Disney Princess delivers an alt-pop critique of how society treats women like products, serving as a second preview of 'HADES', due out through Atlantic Records on March 27. Commenting on the track, Martinez said:
"I love writing about the entertainment industry and how it affects women. It’s a perfect microcosm of the world around us, how numb and disconnected you can become if you allow others to commodify you."
Both of her recent singles are set to feature on the 18-track follow-up to 2023's 'Portals', though the full tracklist has yet to be revealed.
